Halavah and Abhay Sofsky are brothers who direct, produce, and edit award winning films, web series, music videos, and low to big budget commercial videos. They have worked alongside Alec Baldwin, Leonardo DiCaprio, Susan Sarandon, and Fisher Stevens. Puma, vitaminwater, Yahoo!, Klondike, Trojan, and Intel are some of the brands that Halavah & Abhay have worked with.

Abhay was Editor and Associate Producer of the SXSW Grand Jury Prize winning documentary Beware of Mr. Baker, for which he received the IFF Boston Karen Schmeer Award for Excellence in Documentary Editing. He also edited Before The Flood, John Leguizamo’s HBO special Ghetto Klown, and a number of music videos for Vampire Weekend.

Halavah recently produced his first feature film, Colby, which premiered at the 2016 Sarasota Film Festival and was an official selection of Newport Beach and New Orleans Film Festivals. He was a producer on the documentary These Storied Streets, which premiered at the 2014 Traverse City Film Festival. He has directed and produced web series for sites like CollegeHumor, Above Average, and Flama as well as national commercials and branded new media - including a Telly Award winning spot in the 2013 “Branded Content – Viral” category.

Halavah and Abhay are currently wrapping up production on the directorial debut of their first feature length documentary.
